Hey everyone, I am in Provo Canyon and you can see a little backup of cars! I often have people that are looking to move up Provo Canyon or towards this way that say, “Oh but the canyon is often closed…” I’ve lived in Wallsburg for twenty years now, and this is the second time it’s happened to me! Take a look at the video to see just how beautiful Provo Canyon is!
20 years, 2 times. This is such a beautiful Canyon and I feel privileged to drive up and down it every day! I’m actually grateful that this happens every once in a while, just to remind me of the beauty! Not that it’s easy to forget; I mean this Canyon is gorgeous and I love looking at it as I drive up and down the canyon.
I hope this answers some questions people often have asked me about the canyon. It’s really a good and well-maintained road. It is seldom closed despite the many rumors and I thoroughly enjoy living at the top of it. Absolutely nothing can beat these views!

You may be too cold still to think about swimming outdoors here in Utah. However, August will be here before you know it and with that is our annual Coldwell Banker Client Appreciation Party at the Lindon Pool. We have great food, great competitions, and more often than not great weather. One of the most fun things to participate in is the “Lily-Pad Race”. I’m always so grateful for those I get to work within Real Estate and those that continue to refer their friends and family to me. One of the things that I really like about real estate is the networking. I’ve had my real estate license for about 6 years now, and a couple years ago I saw this billboard that caught my eye. It was during the election and a lot of you probably saw this particular billboard!
On the billboard was a picture of Hillary and Trump with the words displayed: “Are you moving to Canada?” It was the kind of the spoof that made you question who you would choose; and, will you be moving to Canada despite who wins? I thought it was hilarious! Jimmy is the name of the guy who created the billboard, and I called him soon after that. I had heard about some of his tactics and how well they were working. He’s a very successful realtor! On that call I was amazed at how eager he was to explain, he was so friendly. I’m with Coldwell Banker, and although he isn’t, he was so friendly and willing to give me some pointers on a few things that have really helped me. I’d had my real estate license about three and a half years at that time. Anyways, I saw him again today while I was in Park City and had the chance to talk with him and ask a few more questions. I would love to help you just as he has helped me! If you’re interested in real estate, they keep saying now’s the best time to get into real estate just simply because the market is so hot for sellers and there are a lot of buyers. It’s a lot of work either way, but if you’re interested in real estate, let me know. I would love to hop on a phone call and talk about Real Estate! Hey everyone, hope you’ve had a good New Year’s and your year is starting out well. Just wanted to give you some information about an area that I haven’t been over to for a few months, and have a client from out of state that wanted some information on – Jordanelle Ridge; a development just off of Highway 40 on your way to Park City, north end of Heber.
Anyway, it’s a great development and one of the things my client was asking, he says, I want a place with a view and in Heber there’s not a lot of areas with views, I mean there are some areas, but anyway this is one of the best. This area had nine homes and two town-homes that sold last year. They currently only have two town-homes and two single-family homes that are for sale right now, but you can see this view. This is the little clubhouse and swimming pool that they have, and you can see the the view of Timpanogos over there.
You know it’s like I say, it’s one of the few areas, and not every home in the the development has a perfect view, but it has somewhat of a view. In fact let me just show you, here’s the other view, you’re looking up towards Deer Valley and then you can see up here they’re starting the next phase of this Jordanelle Ridge. Not sure how soon they’re going to be having homes ready for sale or lots for sale.
But anyway if you’re interested, you’re close to Park City, you can jump right on here you can be over to the gondola and up into Deer Valley really easily, you can head up to Kamas this way, up to Victory ranch, you’re close to Heber and Midway. It is a really great development.

I’m sure there’s going to be a few more things coming available just because they still have some fifty or sixty townhomes when the things complete. I can’t remember exactly how many are complete to this point.

I love doing real estate, I love helping people through the process. My favorite thing about being a Real Estate agent is meeting the people. It has been great to meet people from all walks of life, from all around the country and it’s always neat to get somebody through a transaction and into a property they want to purchase or out of a property they want to sell.
I once worked with a super neat family. They gave me all their criteria, just had a great meeting with them. They wanted to buy property in Wasatch County and we started looking there and for the budget and what they wanted, you know we just weren’t finding anything and we ended up going a little bit further south in Utah County. Then a little bit further south, and then finally down to Fairview. We found a home and it was just ideal and we got in the home the day it was listed and they ended up just finding a great home. They’ve said a couple times that I did everything right and that everything went perfect.
It really helps when you have somebody that’s as concerned about the process as you are. And that’s what I strive to have is that empathy and that concern that my client has in selling their property or in buying a property.
I’m very thorough some people say to an extreme, to make sure the I’s are dotted and the T’s are crossed. I really strive to communicate. I do what my clients need me to do. I want them to have a successful transaction and so I do feel like I work some overtime. I’ve made offers at ten, eleven o’clock at night, because as the client just stews and stews, okay what are we going to do? How are we going to respond? Finally at ten o’clock they’re saying will you help us do this? We want to get an offer sent in or we want to do something.
My optimism helps me to look at things a little bit different. I just always feel like there’s a way to get a property sold or to find a property to purchase. There’s a way to find it whether I’m knocking on doors asking people if they’re interested in selling. There’s typically a way to find something for my client either to purchase or to sell a property and so I think my optimism helps me to maybe look outside the box and find a way.
It’s interesting because I love helping people and lots of times they never do become a client of mine. I’m comfortable helping people and it all comes back in the end. I mean what is it the golden rule of life you know, do to others what you would want them to do to you.
So I love being able to be a resource to people, and help them and give them information whether it’s about selling a property, or buying a property, getting water rights, getting an easement.
Real Estate really provides an avenue for me to serve a lot of people I think.
