From November 20 through December 24, make your way through the paths at Gardner Village enjoying the fun displays and participating in the Elf Scavenger Hunt.
3.Attend the Performance of “Savior of the World”
“Savior of the World” is a musical production about the Birth and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Performances run from November 20,2015- January 2,2016. Tickets are required for this event. Evening performances are $8.00 and the Matinee is $5.00.
4.Spanish Fork Festival of Lights
Starting Thanksgiving Night November 26,2015 through New Year’s Jan 1,2016 see the Festival of Lights in Spanish Fork. The cost is $7 per car. According to the website its recommended you listen to 99.9 FM for Holiday Music while you drive through the light displays.
November 27,2015- January 4,2016 starting at 5:30 each night; the lights will be shut off each night at 11 PM. There is no charge to see the lights on the pond.
9.The Forgotten Carols
The Forgotten Carols Christmas Performance by Michael McLean will be in Orem, Utah November 30; Ogden, Utah December 4; and Salt Lake City December 11,12 and 14-19.
This year the festival of trees is celebrating 45 years. The event will run December 2-5,2015 The festival of trees is a great way to get in the holiday spirit and help Primary Children’s Hospital
In the book “The Christmas Box” an Angle Statue was introduced by Richard Paul Evans. Now this Monument is in Salt Lake. Each year on December 6 a candlelight healing ceremony is held around the monument.
17.First Presidency Christmas Devotional
The First Presidency Christmas Devotional will be Sunday December 6 this year. Tickets are sold out for this event but you can watch it online.
18.Breakfast with Santa
Have a yummy breakfast, play time and holiday crafts with Santa at Discovery Gateway. December 12 and 19.
Though not specific for Utah reading the novel “Christmas Jars” by Jason F. Wright will change the way you look at Christmas. This story is inspiring and a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.
22.Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert
This year Laura Osnes and Martin Jarviswill be preforming at the Christmas concert. Tickets for this concert are by random selection.

The Jingle Bus is a free bus that runs from November 28 through December 28 from 5-10pm 7 days a week. The Bus circulates between The Gateway, Temple Square, City Creek Center, Gallivan Plaza and Capitol Theatre.

Though not the tropics, with weather that tends to be in the 50’s and 60’s, St. George will feel warmer than northern Utah.

If you can’t make it to this event but want to help my son Perry is Growing a beard for No Shave November to help Kids On The Move you can donate at A Good Cause, Perry the Platypus, and a Beard!
