Master Bedroom & Insomnia

The master bedroom has become very important in the purchase and sell of property.  That would seem appropriate since we spend approximately 1/3 of our life sleeping, presumably in our bedroom.  Thus the typical home buyer wants a nice comfortable bedroom (not so much for the crumb crunchers in the family).

With the technology available you may have your own reading lamp or your own side of the bed firmness or anything in between, including an Underbed Plasma Lift .

How well are you sleeping?  If you suffer from insomnia it doesn’t matter how nice the bedroom.

A new study by Brigham and Women’s Hospital found that the use of light-emitting electronic devices before going to bed may be detrimental to overall health.

The Press Release from the hospital states, “We found the body’s natural circadian rhythms were interrupted by the short-wavelength enriched light, otherwise known as blue light, from these electronic devices,” as per Anne-Marie Chang, PhD.

The study shows that the reading of a printed book did not have the same effect of reducing melatonin secretion, resulting in reduced next-morning alertness.  So we better look at the benefit of a library, den or bookshelves in our home.

If you do find yourself using an electronic devise before retiring for bed, the next best option is to use some good alternative medicine such as Lavender and Roman Chamomile essential oil to help you beat insomnia.
